Dr Arda Akartuna - Senior Cryptocurrency Threat Researcher, Elliptic
Dr. Akartuna is a Senior Crypto Threat Analyst at Elliptic and an Assistant Professor of Crypto & Future Crimes at City University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on crimes enabled by cryptoassets and emerging technologies, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing and illicit activity on the dark web. He has advised numerous international organizations, public and private sector entities on emerging crime trends and prevention measures.
Yvonne Ng - Regional Head of APAC, Elliptic
Yvonne Ng is the Regional Head of APAC at Elliptic with over 20 years of sales leadership experience in ICT and SaaS. She has a strong track record in exceeding revenue targets, managing global accounts, and leading cross-functional teams. Yvonne is passionate about digital assets, compliance, and market development in the crypto regulatory space. As an advocate for women in blockchain, she champions diversity in the industry.
Shumin Lin - Dispute Resolution, Drew & Napier
Shumin has an active disputes practice and is experienced in complex contractual disputes, shareholder's disputes, company law issues, and tortious actions. She also has particular experience with cryptocurrency and blockchain disputes, and freezing injunctions. In addition, she has handled judicial reviews, competition investigations and dawn raids.
Shumin has acted for a wide range of clients from various industries before the Singapore Courts and in international arbitrations. This includes acting for companies in the web3, retail, hospitality, and shipping industries as well as venture capitalists.

Penny Chai - VP of APAC, Sumsub
Penny Chai joined Sumsub as Vice President of Business Development, APAC in April 2023 and now also leads the Global Partnership Organisation. She brings with her over 25 years of experience in partnerships, business development and marketing.
Prior to her role at Sumsub, Penny was the Director of Global Partnerships at the predictive cryptocurrency risks and intelligence platform Merkle Science where she spearheaded the design of the partner program and implemented it globally. Additionally, she was the Channels Director for APAC at Jumio, overseeing the continuous development of the indirect business for the company in APAC. Under her leadership, Penny designed and built the global partner program, growing the APAC partner business by more than 500% in 2.5 years.
