About Event

The prospect of launching a startup can be daunting, especially in the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Healthcare sectors. Navigating the complex regulations, securing FDA approval, and managing the significant expenses associated with a well-equipped laboratory are formidable challenges. Join us for a workshop on navigating public funding for health and science-based startups.

Specifically, you will learn:

  • Which SBIR Funding opportunities are available for Health Technology, Life Science & Biotechnology Companies.

  • Company Eligibility Requirements

  • How to make your proposal more appealing to a specific Institute or Center.

  • Public Funding opportunities, including the Department of Defense (DOD, AFWERX) and the National Institute of Health (NIH).
