​First Move is thrilled to host a curated event for startups and VCs: first of its kind - rock climbing and networking session. This event symbolizes our commitment to blending adventure with entrepreneurship

This event is designed for early-stage founders to mingle with VCs, whether you're a seasoned climber or stepping onto the wall for the first time. Imagine scaling the heights with a VC belaying your climb— literally having your back as you navigate the walls and your startup journey!

​Why Climb? Just like the journey of building a startup, climbing presents a range of challenges. It's a metaphorical parallel to the ups and downs founders face while navigating the business landscape. A good climb is like a crash course of navigating challenges of your venture: overcoming fear, pivoting, failing, picking up again and most importantly having a good partner. And after the climb, we will unwind and exchange insights over some refreshing beers.

​1. Do I need climbing experience? Not at all! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned climber, this event caters to everyone. We welcome first-timers eager to experience the thrill of climbing.

​2. What kind of startups is this for? This session is tailored for early-stage founders—those navigating the initial phases of their ventures to mingle with early-stage investors.

​3. Do I need climbing gear? Camp5 has rental gear available, so don't worry about bringing your own equipment. You can rent everything you need right there.

​4. Is there a fee to attend? The event itself is free! However, participants will need to cover the Camp5 day pass (RM42) and equipment rental (harness RM5, climbing shoes RM7). Post climb beers is on First Move.

​5. Who will be attending? Expect to meet a diverse group—early-stage VCs passionate about investing in new ventures and startup founders looking to connect, share experiences, and potentially form valuable collaborations.
