Bay Area Malaysians Eid Picnic
Join us for a festive celebration at the Bay Area Malaysian Community's Inaugural Eid-ul-Fitr Picnic Potluck, held in the beautiful Ponderosa Park in Sunnyvale, CA. On April 27, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, we come together to celebrate the end of Ramadan with a feast as colorful and diverse as our community itself.
This Eid, let’s embrace the warmth of togetherness, sharing your cherished dishes and crafting unforgettable memories under the California sun. We invite you to bring your family, friends, and that special dish you're known for as we enjoy the spring’s beauty on our picnic blankets.
Eid Festivities Highlights:
Eid Potluck: Join us in a culinary adventure showcasing the rich flavors of our heritage. Please add your dish to our Google Sheet Link to ensure various delicious options. Let’s make this potluck a testament to the diverse tastes of Eid.
Games and Entertainment: A selection of board games will be available for attendees of all ages, guaranteeing a lively and enjoyable day. You are also encouraged to bring any games you’d like to share.
Children's Coloring Contest: A special coloring contest will add a dash of creativity to the festivities with a Malaysian theme for our young artists.
Dress Code: In the spirit of Eid joy, attendees are welcome to wear traditional attire, though it is not mandatory. Your choice to don traditional clothes will certainly add to the festive atmosphere of our gathering.
