Sibei Xia
Sibei Xia is an assistant professor in the Department of Textiles, Apparel Design, and Merchandising at Louisiana State University. Her expertise includes emerging fashion technologies (3D body scanners, flatbed knitting machines, and computer-aided design programs) and fashion data mining (text mining and computer vision). She has earned her Ph.D. in Textile Technology Management and her Master of Computer Science in Data Science track from North Carolina State University. Her research interest is to utilize fashion technologies and fashion informatics to develop better solutions for consumers, companies, manufacturers, and researchers.
