​비트코인 서울 해커톤은 한국의 빌더들에게 비트코인 개발 환경 소개, 커밋 경험, 어플리케이션 개발 및 피칭에 대한 양질의 정보 접근과 경험을 제공하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 서울 비트코인 밋업, 논스, 체인코드 랩스, BDK 등 비트코인 생태계의 핵심 조직과 협업하여 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공하며, 모든 참가자들은 보상을 획득하고 비트코인 개발을 학습하는 경험을 쌓을 수 있습니다. 그리고 서울 비트코인 컨퍼런스와 연계된 공식 사이드 이벤트로써 해커톤 참여자들에게 컨퍼런스에서의 최종 파이널 피칭 기회 및 상금획득 기회와 함께 비트코인 코어 개발 및 관련 투자업계 관계자와의 네트워킹 기회를 가질 수 있습니다.

​해커톤 미션 구성

• ​[optional] Track A: 비트코인 개발환경 셋팅, 스케벤저 헌트 및 BIP32 구현 미션 수행 (5월18~26일)

  • ​Chaincode Labs 제공 자료 기반 스케벤저 헌트 미션, BIP32 지갑 구현 미션을 달성에 초점두고 있음

  • ​워크샵 참여를 통해 문제의 힌트와 아이디어를 얻고, 제공된 자동 채점 시스템에 커밋하여 점수를 획득

  • ​Track B-1: 코어 아이디어톤

    • ​비트코인 개선안에 대한 세부 주제를 해커톤 시작시 제공하고 1박2일간 리서치, 아이디어 발표

    • ​참가자들이 아이디어를 발전시키고 품질 높은 프로젝트로 발전시킬 수 있도록 멘토진이 도움을 줌

  • ​Track B-2: 비트코인 어플리케이션 개발과 창업 아이템

    • ​어플리케이션 개발에 대한 레퍼런스 및 멘토링 제공

    • ​스타트업 아이템을 개발하고 발전시키는데 도움이 되는 네트워크 지원을 제공 (*코어 아이디어톤, 어플리케이션 개발 선정 최종 3팀은 비트코인서울 컨퍼런스 무대에서 최종 피칭 진행)

​해커톤 리워드 구성

• ​트랙 A 보상 3문제 미션 수행시 100,000원 상당 비트코인 지급

• ​트랙 B 코어 아이디어톤 1팀, 어플리케이션 개발 2팀, 특별상 1팀 상금(5월25일 해커톤 OT 진행시 상금액 발표예정)

​2024 Bitcoin Seoul Hackathon Introduction

​The Bitcoin Seoul Hackathon aims to provide Korean builders with access to high-quality information and experiences regarding Bitcoin development environments, commit experiences, application development, and pitching. Collaborating with Bitcoin-related organizations in the Bitcoin ecosystem such as Seoul Bitcoin Meetup, Orakle@KAIST, nonce community, Chaincode Labs, and BDK, we offer various contents. All participants can earn rewards and gain experience in learning Bitcoin development. As an official side event linked to the Seoul Bitcoin Conference, hackathon participants will have the opportunity to make final pitches and earn prizes at the conference, as well as network with Bitcoin Core developers and relevant investment industry professionals.

​Hackathon Mission Structure

​[optional] Track A: Bitcoin Development Environment Setup, Scavenger Hunt, and BIP32 Implementation Mission (May 18-26)

• ​Focusing on achieving scavenger hunt missions based on materials provided by Chaincode Labs and implementing BIP32 wallets.

• ​Participate in workshops to get hints and ideas for the problems, commit to the provided automatic grading system to earn points.

​[choose 1] Track B: Hackathon (1 night 2 days, May 25-26)

​Track B-1: Core Ideathon

• ​Detailed topics related to Bitcoin improvements will be provided at the start of the hackathon, followed by research and idea presentations over the course of 1 night and 2 days.

• ​Mentors will provide assistance to help participants develop their ideas into high-quality projects.

​Track B-2: Bitcoin Application Development and Startup Ideas

• ​Providing references and mentoring for application development.

​Offering network support to develop and improve startup ideas. (*The final 3 teams selected for Core Ideathon and application development will make final pitches on the stage of the Bitcoin Seoul Conference.)

​Hackathon Rewards Structure

​100,000 KRW worth of Bitcoin will be awarded upon completing 3 tasks in Track A.

​Prizes for Track B: Core Ideathon 1 team, Application Development 2 teams, Special award 1 team (The prize amount will be announced during the hackathon orientation on May 25th.)
