Chan Kuang Wen will share the different ways AI enhances educational interactivity: through AI avatars, lecture-integrated chatbots, and AI tutoring systems. We'll examine how these technologies bring teaching resources to life and augment student-teacher interactions. (Technical Level: 100)
Yuxuan will share a side hobby project of his — Taboo AI, its development journey and how he thinks AI could help with language learning. He will be conducting a demo of Taboo AI and briefly go through the tech stack and its API integration. (Technical Level: 200)
Rachel will share the story of SheetFighter, an AI tool that helps Singapore primary school teachers create PSLE-aligned comprehension worksheets in minutes. Built in collaboration with educators, SheetFighter enables customisation of topics, question types, and difficulty levels. Learn about the team's approach to curriculum alignment and technical architecture that makes this possible. (Technical Difficulty: 100-200)

More about the Speakers
Chan Kuang Wen is the Department Head (Educational Technology) at Raffles Institution (JC). He has built and deployed multiple AI solutions within the school, and has conducted workshops and shared on the use of AI in education.
Li Yuxuan is a Software Engineer at Mobbin, graduated from SUTD. He has interests in how LLM can be beneficial for modern education, and its potential to be used to boost effectiveness and engagement in language learning. He is also interested in modern web technologies and design engineering in general.
Rachel Tan (Product Designer), Kok Seng and Sheikh (Engineers) and Mian Jun (Policy) are part of the team that developed SheetFighter at Open Government Products (OGP). They work on making AI tools practical and accessible for educators, with a focus on solving real classroom challenges.
