About Event

With every opportunity attracting hundreds of qualified candidates, it feels like you need to unlock some secret code just to get noticed. Exceptional technical skills aren’t enough for career advancement when the competition is tough. And let’s be honest: submitting your resume into the void and hoping decision-makers can somehow see your value isn’t a strategy that feels empowering.

In this workshop, Dr. Jenn Felsted-Knight will guide you through a five-step framework to transform reactive career moves into strategic positioning, helping you navigate uncertain markets with the same methodical approach you bring to complex technical challenges.

You'll learn how to read between the lines of opportunity descriptions, identify the problems they're actually trying to solve, and uncover unspoken priorities. This isn't about checking boxes or manufacturing perfect qualifications. Instead, we’ll focus on demonstrating how your unique combination of experiences, perspectives, and capabilities creates distinctive value for the opportunity at hand.

Whether you're navigating a career transition, pursuing an advancement opportunity, or determined to stand out in a crowded field, you'll learn how to create strategic alignment between your capabilities and organizational needs, transforming market uncertainty into your competitive advantage.
