Ariana Ferwerda is the co-founder and CEO of women's outdoor apparel brand, Halfdays. Ariana aims to make waves in the outdoor industry by building a brand that is approachable, inclusive, and fun. Ariana grew up in Michigan, where she originally learned to ski. Upon moving to Colorado, she was incredibly frustrated by the lackluster outdoor apparel industry, specifically due to its lack of focus on women. Prior to starting Halfdays, Ariana was working closely with Fortune 100 retailers, helping them leverage big data to make strategic decisions. Ariana's retail consulting and analytics background led her to identify the major opportunity in the ski wear market to build an authentic brand by and for women.
Kiley McKinnon is a co-founder of Halfdays, a women’s outdoor apparel brand. Originally from Connecticut, Kiley grew up skiing in Vermont, then moved to Park City when she began professionally skiing in the sport of Freestyle Aerials. After competing at the 2018 Olympics in men's ski wear, Kiley knew the male-dominated outdoor industry had to change. It was time to say goodbye to shrink it and pink it and hello to ski wear made for women by women. With her background in skiing, Kiley and the rest of the Halfdays team are on a mission to make products that fit well, look good and make women excited to get out on the mountain.

The typical attendee profile is a mix of young professionals in marketing, tech, and start-up, but anyone is welcome. In the past, we've had 10-figure founders, business execs, and other notable business personalities attend.

We'll be doing a live interview from 6-7, then open it up for Q&A. Afterwards, you'll get a behind-the-scenes tour of Halfday's very own headquarters. And, of course, time to network with the awesome folks around you.
