We have been hosting a lot of hackathons during the year but now it's time for our first hardware tech meetup, inspired by tech meetups hosted regularly in Silicon Valley.

MIKLU SILVANTO
is a Finnish born industrial designer currently advising at Verge Motorcycles, ŌURA, Elo Health, and Sulapac Ltd. He is the Founder & Chief Design Officer at Vaarnii and a former Chief Design Officer at Bang & Olufsen. Miklu also held roles at Airbnb's Samara and is a former member of Apple’s legendary industrial design team, where he worked with Jony Ive for eight years, co-designing the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Miklu will give a keynote on how to design world-class hardware consumer products.URHO KONTTORI
is a pioneer in mixed reality and visual AI. Urho is the CEO of Distance Technologies, which has created the world’s first glasses-free mixed reality solution. He is also the founder of Varjo, known for groundbreaking VR/AR/MR devices. Previously, Urho held key roles at Microsoft and Nokia, where he worked on innovative projects in mobile and mixed reality technologies. With a rich background in product development and company founding, Urho will share his journey in building a hardware company from the ground up to a world-changing venture with over $150M in funding.JAMIN HU
is the founder and CTO of Doublepoint. Doublepoint is revolutionizing touch-based interaction with innovative solutions for AR/VR, IoT, and smartwatches. With a background in biomedical engineering from Imperial College London, Jamin brings a wealth of knowledge in ML, DL, and interaction development. He will provide insights into what it is like to lead interaction and hardware development in an emerging tech startup.
On top of the keynotes, we have people showcasing what kind of projects they are building currently related to wearable tech. These meetups are all about BUILDING.
