Abhijit here - I’m running a fireside chat for the travel entrepreneurs & content creator community as there was a lot of demand for it. If you’re a female and are unsure about solo travel, we will also discuss and break myths in this space.
This event’s topic is on how you turn content creation into a thriving business - travel edition.
This event is run in collaboration with Hostelmatch, Yes Toronto & TBDC.
POV you've built some sort of following or community. What do you do next? How do you find opportunities to leverage your audience? How do you travel solo as a female traveller?
On Thursday October 3rd at 6pm, we'll meet at TBDC in Downtown Toronto where we'll hear from Mariellen (@breathedreamgo) and how she built the award winning travel site Breathedreamgo.com inspired by her extensive travels in India.
As always, this event is completely free and is great for travel enthusiasts, entrepreneurs & content creators.
The night will begin with a fireside chat at 6pm which will roughly last for 45 minutes.
We will also open up the floor for live Q/A with Mariellen.
We'll close with a casual mingle time before we all head out.
About Mariellen:
Mariellen is a Canadian travel writer and blogger. She runs the award-winning travel site Breathedreamgo.com, inspired by her extensive travels in India. She has been travel blogging since 2005, has been published in leading media outlets worldwide, can be found just about everywhere online as Breathedreamgo, and offers custom tours to India through her company India for Beginners. In 2019, Mariellen received a National Tourism Award for Best Foreign Travel Journalist & Blogger from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. In 2022, Breathedreamgo was recommended by the Lonely Planet Guide to India (page 1193) as a go-to site for female travellers to India.
