Session #1 - "The Rise of the Blockchain Architect" [30 min]

In this session we will talk about the evolving role of the blockchain architect, who it is, what are the considerations that should be taken into account when designing and building a Web3 system. We will talk about choosing the right blockchain, designing the wallet structure, choosing the right custody model, trust security & risk architecture, smart contracts architecture and management, blockchain data access and monitoring and more. More of a high level discussion around all the topics.

Speaker:

  • Slava Serebrianniy, DevRel Lead, Fireblocks

Session #2 - "Key Management Solutions" [60 min]

In this session we explore the current options available for managing keys in wallet infrastructure. We will discuss AWS Key Management Service (KMS), Cloud HSM and AWS Nitro Enclaves. Discover how Nitro Enclaves are employed in combination with Multi-Party Computation (MPC), and gain insights into the advantages, obstacles, and a broad overview of their implementation details.

Speakers:

  • David-Paul Dornseifer, Sr. Blockchain Development Architect, AWS

  • Ben Liderman, Sr. Core Infrastructure Architect, Fireblocks

Session #3 - "On-Chain Data Access" [60 min]

In this session we will explore the process of accessing data stored on the blockchain, including the current obstacles that need to be overcome. We will compare handling this data in-house versus utilizing external vendors. Additionally, we will delve into indexing, querying, and retrieving the data, with a special focus on AMB Query and The Grap. The last part of the session will include a live demo.

Speaker:

  • Christoph Niemann, Sr. Blockchain Solution Architect, AWS

Session #4 - "Web3 Lab" [45 min]

In this hands-on lab the participants will create their own Fireblocks Sandbox environment, create, deploy and mint their own simple NFT collection through the Fireblocks system by using tools like the Fireblocks Hardhat plugin, Fireblocks Web3 Provider, Fireblocks API and Fireblocks NFT Dashboard.

Speaker:

  • Slava Serebrianniy, DevRel Lead, Fireblocks
