WRISE Panel & Networking Session: The Future of Grid Resilience in the PNW
Join the newly revitalized Seattle Chapter of WRISE (Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy) for an event that celebrates both PNW Climate Week and WRISE Week simultaneously! WRISE's mission is to "drive the transition to an equitable energy future by championing the advancement of ALL women across the renewable and sustainable energy industries." But you most definitely do NOT have to be a woman to attend this event. All are welcome.
Following opening remarks from City Councilmember Alexis Mercedes Rinck, this panel of women executives from the utility and renewable energy sectors will discuss key risks and challenges to maintaining grid resilience in the region, now and into the future. They'll also touch on areas of opportunity to address those challenges and on the importance of finding the right partners to make it all happen.
There will be a casual networking session after the panel discussion. A special thank you to Seattle City Light and Nola's Catering for sponsoring our refreshments, and to Councilmember Rinck for sponsoring our use of the Bertha Knight Landes Room.
