⛓️ Let’s flip the script with HireUp! Here’s how we’re breaking the broken system:
* We hand-pick awesome job seekers and real, live employers (no ghost job posts!).
* No resumes - just real people meeting real people
* Everyone in one room - some hiring, some looking
* We’ll mingle, chat, see if we click as future teammates, share experiences, and have a great time
* Worst case: good conversations and good snacks. Best case: interview invite in your inbox!
Acceptance criteria
Each HireUp! event focuses on a specific group of people. This time, we're spotlighting Software Engineers. In the registration form, we'll ask a few questions to help us select candidates who best fit this focus. Space is limited, so we'll be choosing only the top candidates.
On the hiring side, we're inviting only actively hiring companies. Not those just “keeping an eye on the market.” Not the ones with job posts that mysteriously reopen every month and never get filled. Only companies that actually need the job done.
We’re also reviewing the hiring companies’ open positions and may admit a few candidates who are a good fit for these positions, even if they’re not Software Engineers.
Getting there
Silver & Orange Lines - Ballston-MU metro station is a 6-min walk
Strit parking is very limited. SP+ Parking in the building is $14 for 2hr with an $18 daily max
