🌟 The Unf*uck Finance Series
Finance is broken - functionally and morally. Functionally, as it does not work; financial markets do not serve those who most urgently need access to capital to create livelihoods, solve pressing social and environmental issues, and grow existing impactful businesses.
Morally, as many of modern finance’s tools and structures are extractive, even exploitative, by default and reflect power imbalances more than any rational criteria like merit, risk-return, or need. That sucks!
