We have our first live, collaborative rabbit hole session of the year on the topic Working online, living offline facilitated by our community favorite Severin Matusek.

Here's some context from Severin Matusek, which I find... SO RELATABLE:

I'm thinking a lot about the fact that 99% of my work life and professional value creation exists in virtual space. My screen is the portal to a virtual world that I contribute to and that enables me to collaborate on exciting projects around the world. But the result of my work does not influence my physical environment. Most of my friends work in other industries. There are a lot less IRL gatherings (drinks, talks, network events) since the pandemic and the rise of remote-first work culture. I don't lack social connections in my life. But my physical self, the one that lives in Berlin, goes grocery shopping, picks up his kid and hangs out with friends, doesn't overlap much with my virtual self, the one that creates value through the portal of a screen, anymore.

It will be a casual discussion with no formal agenda, just screensharing & exploring this topic (+ our browser tabs) together.
