🌿 Youth Funding & Participatory Grantmaking Luncheon (Invite Only)

​The Youth Funding & Participatory Grantmaking Luncheon at Hope House brings together innovative youth leaders, funders, and participatory grantmakers to learn about each others’ work, exchange best practices and key insights, and spark collaboration.   This intimate invite-only luncheon and conversation will encourage participants to share experiences with funding youth-led or youth-serving climate work, dive into current challenges and opportunities to accelerate support for youth and explore ways to implement participatory grantmaking practices. This includes a focus on frontline communities—those that experience the most immediate and worst impacts of climate change, which are most often low-income, Indigenous, and/or communities of color. Together, we can question and challenge the traditional funding structures.

​This session will allow participants to engage with each other to understand the need to accelerate support for youth-led and youth-serving climate initiatives, and explore pathways forward. We are excited for the rich conversation that will unfold, and hope to continue the conversation after this initial meeting. 

​*This conversation will follow Chatham House Rules, which means you may share the information you receive, but not the identity of who said it. Further, we will share a non-attributional notes summary and guest list with participants only, following our convening.
