About Event

Join us for an immersive workshop exploring the transformative intersection of AI and data visualization. Through interactive activities and collaborative design exercises, you will delve into the discussion of possibilities and critical ethical considerations of AI-assisted visualization.

In the workshop, we'll use our AI-VIS EthiCards (https://aivisethicards.github.io/)—a specially designed card deck for sparking creative discussions—small groups will conceptualize and critically explore future AI-assisted visualization projects.

This workshop is perfect for designers, data professionals, researchers, and anyone interested in the ethical implications of AI in data and visualization. Light dinner (sandwich wraps) will be provided.

It is part of an ongoing research initiative to evaluate our material and activities for ethical AI design.
