Workshop: Practical Guide for Effective Pitching
This workshop will focus on the art of pitching. J'HEALEE, founder of Truth in Motion and Tsai CITY Mentor, will explore the key elements of an effective pitch, including engaging your audience, structuring your message, and adapting to different business contexts. The session will also cover techniques for grounding yourself and managing your inner state before stepping into a pitch.
Using the 10-page pitch storyline framework developed by author Dan Roam, J'HEALEE will demonstrate how the hero’s journey structure can be applied to craft a compelling and persuasive pitch for your venture.
More about J'HEALEE:
I have a Yale PhD in electrical engineering specializing in medical imaging.
As an entrepreneur at heart, I developed my business skills working for startups in New York City. I served as a director of Engineering and a CTO, wearing many hats, across various industries such as technology consulting, e-commerce B2B2C (HW/SW), and online community platforms.
Due to deteriorating health in 2000, I made a sudden career shift and immersed myself in healing arts and mindfulness. I extensively studied, practiced, and taught energy work, including Reiki and Qi-Gong.
Combining my pragmatic engineering background with these newfound tools, I developed a holistic framework for everyday life and business applications called I-Foundations.
This framework is designed to help individuals effectively navigate life and work challenges by addressing self-care, balance, clarity, authentic decision-making, and effective action as a whole system through cultivating new energy and time skills.
My work focuses on enabling individuals with self-innovation and self-leadership to live, work, and lead effectively and sustainably in today's fast-paced world.
As a practical mindfulness and energy coach for over two decades, I have coached business executives and professionals, led various workshops for diverse audiences and startup centers, and mentored entrepreneurs.
