We often make grand statements about the youth being the future, bestowing upon them the responsibility to create changes in the future.
Saplings is a call to action; a light centered on the incredible work the youth are doing, and a wakeup call to center their voices and listen as they plant seeds of transformative resistance.
In Saplings, we invite youth to challenge corporate greed, the fossil fuel industry, greenwashing, and extractive policies that are directly impacting our changing communities, ecosystems, and everyday lives. Weaving together voices of young activists and environmentalists, we celebrate those rightfully claiming space within climate justice. What would it mean to really listen?
