Weaving Wholeness x TrustIn Embodied Explorations
Most days, your body feels tired despite a full night’s sleep. Maybe you’ve heard somewhere that “the body keeps the score” – and it feels like you’re losing.
Most times, you feel stuck in your rage and helplessness – but there’s also a gentle, steady whisper that’s urging you to move through the discomfort, towards embodying your feminine power.
Every day, you’re doing your best and beyond – but you feel like the system is always against you. You know this isn’t your experience alone, but who do you unpack these living, trembling fears with?
At Weaving Wholeness, we recognize that the experience of patriarchy, abuse and violence on the female body-mind unfolds in varying degrees, intensities and frequencies. That’s why we’re working with our friends at TrustIn to bring you a space of healing, honouring, resisting and reclaiming.
As we gather in the safety of community, we will engage in:
✦ processes to deeply attune and listen to each other's stories
✦ practices to release, rest and reenergize the nervous system, and
✦ rituals to honour the sacredness of our being and the joy of our collective expression.
The space will be held by Romana Shaikh and Meghana Srinivas.
Romana is a presence-oriented facilitator and global education leader who brings 20 years of practice and lived experience across the fields of mental health, education, peace-building, social entrepreneurship and leadership. She currently serves as a teaching assistant for the Presence Oriented Psychotherapy Diploma (India) and has previously served as a faculty member for Comprehensive Sexuality Education Certification with India-based NGO Seeds of Awareness.
Meghana is the founder and CEO of TrustIn, feminist leader and a trauma-responsive coach. She's also the COO of XylemX Impact Fund. Passionate about harnessing technology to counter gender-based violence, Meghana has supported hundreds of organisations and survivors, built capacity in individuals, teams and organisations, towards creating a more feminist future through sustainable, positive impact.
This embodied exploration will take place in Bengaluru (venue to be announced soon!). Light refreshments will be provided.
