Join us for a hands-on cyanotype workshop, where art meets science!
What are Cyanotypes?
Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography. The historical photographic printing process that uses the power of the sun to create beautiful, deep-blue prints.

What should I expect during this workshop?

In this workshop, you'll create your own composition by using an array of pre-pressed flowers and paper. Once your compositions are ready, you will learn how to develop your work onto pre-treated/ light-sensitive fabric by exposing your creation to sunlight.

What’s Included:

  • 2 cyanotype fabric sheets

  • An array of pre-pressed flowers

  • Construction paper

  • scissors, glue, paper, pencils

  • Step-by-step instruction

  • A brief intro to the history and chemistry of cyanotypes

✨Participants are encouraged to bring items they would like to use in their compositions.
