About Event

Access to safe, sustainable housing is a cornerstone of strong, self-determined Indigenous communities. Yet, the path from vision to completion requires more than just resources—it demands strategic planning, project leadership, and community-driven decision-making.

We’re proud to announce two dynamic speakers for our upcoming session June 24th on Sustainable Housing Development:

  • Sarah Chegahno, Housing Manager at Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation: Born and raised in Neyaashiinigmiing, Sarah brings legal, facilitation, and community engagement expertise. She centers housing around culture, care, and local leadership.

  • Cliffton Cross, Council Member for Frog Lake First Nations: With portfolios spanning Finance, Capital Projects, and Sustainable Development, Cliffton has led major green infrastructure projects, including the Blue Ammonia Plant, Hydrogen Hubs, and the LEAP Master Plan.

Together, they’ll share how project management training and systems thinking can transform housing delivery and strengthen Nation-building from the inside out.

What You’ll Learn:
✔ How project management training strengthens community-led housing initiatives
✔ Lessons from a real-world case study on housing project success
✔ Practical strategies for securing funding, managing timelines, and ensuring sustainability

This webinar is designed for Indigenous leaders, project managers, and community members looking to enhance their housing initiatives through structured project planning.
