The Convergence of Hardware & Software PMs for Connected Devices
More and more of the devices people use everyday are connected to the internet - but the degree to which these consumer experiences are seamless and delightful hinges on 2 different types of PM personas working closely together: hardware and software.
As a hardware or software PM, more and more, you are expected to:
have a working understanding of the HW/SW handshake
think through product market fit at multiple levels of UX
work around the limitations of devices out "in the wild"
Join this session for a lively discussion between 2 PMs who have worked on connected devices and have thoughts about the future of such product lines and the PMs who build them.
