Cursor for Designers - Toronto
Calling all product designers - whether you're curious about building your own ideas, prototyping with code, or just want to talk design with other creative folks - this one's for you.
This is a hands-on event (laptops are encouraged) that explores how designers can use Cursor, an AI-native code editor, to bring their ideas to life.
Jerry (from Rootly), and Max (from market.dev) will be around to help/guide anyone who would like additional help!
They both dabble with design and code for their work and have graciously offered to act as TAs for this workshop
You don’t need to be technical or a professional designer to participate - simply bring your curiosity, some ideas, and a willingness to experiment!
🎤 Special virtual guest: Ryo Lu
He builds Cursor by day, and plays Cursor by night.
Currently building out RyoOS, which has inspired many people lately, shares more about it here

Note: To get the most out of the Q&A, you are encouraged to watch/listen to one (or a few) of Ryo’s interviews linked above. The more curious the questions, the more interesting the discussions from the Q&A!
Questions will be selected before the event to confirm you can ask them yourself during the event :)
This event is experimental and community-driven, think of it like a creative sandbox for design-interested people
Spots are limited, so register early!
