Ńkàtà Ụ́mụ̀ Íbè, an initiative of the Centre for Memories, is a monthly speaker series bringing distinguished leaders to address critical issues affecting Ala Ìgbò.
The platform bridges generations through conversations on Ìgbò values, heritage, and identity, covering leadership, politics, governance, youth mentorship, digital economy, apprenticeship systems, business sustainability, gender equality, and inclusion.
Since 2018, we have hosted over 32 successful editions featuring prominent speakers including Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, Dr. Chi-Chi Aniagolu-Okoye, Prof. Okey Ndibe, Dike Chukwumerije, Chika Oduah, Ike Chioke, Yvonne Chioma Mbanefo, Frank Nweke II, Prof. Philip Effiong, Jr, and Prof Chika Unigwe.
