Reimagining Rehabilitation: A Passive Exoskeleton for Drop Foot Patients
Discover a lightweight, low-cost exoskeleton designed to support ankle dorsiflexion in patients with drop foot caused by brain injuries. Using double torsion springs and a morphodynamic design, this passive device enables natural, energy-efficient walking—without restricting joint movement.
A 15–20 minute talk will be followed by a 30–40 minute open discussion and Q&A.
RoboTalks is a weekly speaker series by Robotum – Innovation & Education, giving students, researchers, and professors the stage to share ideas and spark interdisciplinary exchange.
