​​Meet the Speakers

​​Semiramis Kulak

​​Semiramis Kulak is the managing partner of SGlobe, an Istanbul-based consulting firm solely for startups. They provide 360-degree support to startups, from incorporation until exit. She is also the managing partner of The Hood TEKMER, a 2600-square-meter technology development center in Istanbul.

​​Previously in her career, she worked as a Venture Capitalist. She managed more than 10 funds and invested in over 50 early-stage startups during that time.

​Elif Sancak

​Elif Sancak is a seasoned mentor and advisor, formerly managing the Startup Istanbul global acceleration program, and has guided over 900 startups that subsequently raised over $400M. She judges competitions and advises startups across the UK, holding an MSc in Computing Science from the University of East Anglia.

​Cem Sancak

​Cem Sancak previously a consultant and investment banker with firms like PwC and Lehman Brothers, now focuses on mentoring startups in sustainability and finance, with recent studies at Cambridge and involvement in the Newton Venture Program. Elif and Cem run a boutique consultancy in London, specializing in scouting and supporting startups for VCs and corporates in the UK, Europe, and MENA regions, leveraging their extensive network of over 200 VCs.

​Dilek Dayınlarlı

​Dilek is a general partner at Scalex Ventures and has been an active angel investor and board member for companies like Picus Security and DataRow. Previously, she worked at 212 Venture Capital in Istanbul, investing in notable startups such as IyziCo and Insider. Her career also includes roles at Groupon, Accenture, and her own startup in the USA.

​Hazal Bedir

​Hazal Bedir is the Senior Manager and International Growth Manager at Sistem Global Consulting. She has extensive experience in project management, particularly in EU-funded projects. Her career includes roles at Deloitte Consulting, the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Hazal is also on the executive board of the Turkey-Singapore Business Council at DEIK.
