Venue & logistics
Where: Townhall Maple Ridge (lots of free parking; bus stops #57590 & #57648 nearby).
Food & drinks: Pay your own tab; an automatic 18 % gratuity supports the staff.
Fees: This event is free to attend. If you can afford it, please make a purchase to support the Venue.
Space: We’ve reserved a section, so mingling won’t disturb other diners.
Community guidelines
Respect everyone. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour = you’ll be asked to leave.
No hard-sell tactics. That means no product demos, MLM spiels, or harvesting email lists. Share knowledge instead.
Be inclusive. All backgrounds, skill levels, and identities are welcome—help make the room comfortable for everyone.

Hi, I'm Blake. After 3.5 years of living in Maple Ridge and working remotely in tech, the buzz from Web Summit was a significant reminder that I miss being around my peers! I believe we can build a vibrant tech hub right here, without the commute to DT. I've co-organized cybersecurity events in Vancouver, and I'm bringing that same energy to create a casual, welcoming AI/tech community in Maple Ridge. Let's build something great together.
