Collaboration for Green Innovation: A Pathway to Sustainability and Climate Action in Africa

Warning ⚠

This Conference is not for everyone.

It is only for those ready to take the bull by the horns in Leading Africa's Sustainability and Climate Change Actions in their community. Africa is at a critical crossroads in the global fight against Climate Change and Energy Poverty. The conditions are too grievous for us to fold our hands and pretend that all is well.

To put this in perspective, let me highlight some key statistics to disambiguate the problem.

🗒 More than 600 million Africans still don't have access to electricity and this number is set to double by the year 2040.

🗒 Africa holds over 60% of the world’s solar resources, yet it accounts for less than 2% of global renewable energy capacity.

🗒 Africa contributes only 3% of global greenhouse gas emissions but is the most vulnerable continent to climate change. By 2030, up to 118 million extremely poor Africans could be exposed to droughts, floods, and extreme heat.

🗒 Climate change could reduce Africa’s GDP by 2-4% annually by 2040, threatening food security, infrastructure, and livelihoods.

🗒 With 70% of Africa’s population under 30, young Africans are uniquely positioned to lead the transition to sustainable energy and climate resilience.

The reality here is that all hands must be on deck to achieve a better and more sustainable future for Africa.

The time is now!

Join us at the Global Sustainability and Climate Change Conference as we explore impactful collaborations that would drive Green Innovations in our continent.
