The Setting
Nestled on 1,300 acres of working ranch land, the historic barn (circa 1896) and surrounding meadows provide an authentic backdrop for connecting with California's regenerative fiber and food systems. The venue features a newly renovated three-story ranch barn - the perfect setting for film screenings, a dedicated California native riparian restoration zone, and a relaxing fashion runway experience with natural seating elements.
Space is limited to 60 guests to ensure everyone enjoys an intimate experience.
As this is a working ranch, we kindly ask that only service animals join us on the premises. No pets are allowed. Thank you for your understanding!
Proceeds from the sales will support From Soil to Soul and Rethink the Runway, two organizations in their mission to pursue the interconnection of sectors to foster collaborative approaches in addressing climate challenges.
Come curious, leave inspired. Join us on April 18th —it's about reconnecting with where it all begins. You don’t want to miss it!

Community Partners
Fibershed: a non-profit organization developing regional fiber systems that expand opportunities to implement climate beneficial agriculture, rebuild regional manufacturing, and educate the public about the benefits of soil-to-soil fiber and dye systems. We envision a textile system that embraces the values of de-colonized and equitable soil-to-skin processes. We work to strengthen an international system of diverse textile communities that directly enhance regional economies for the purpose of generating permanent and lasting systems of localized fiber production. These regional land regenerating production systems will diminish pressure on the ecologically undermined areas of the world.
From Soil To Soul: Imagine a world where every community has the power to grow its own food, where children know the story of the food they eat and where their food comes from, and where our relationship with the land is rooted in justice, respect, and sustainability. This is the vision behind From Soil to Soul, a groundbreaking action-oriented documentary series and community initiative that amplifies the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) farmers, thought leaders, regenerative practitioners, and food activists. It is created by a diverse team of filmmakers, farmers, and environmental advocates who are determined to change the food system for good. Our mission is to inspire a global shift towards food sovereignty, reconnecting people with food and land while promoting climate resilience and systemic transformation. By blending storytelling with grassroots collaboration, the series provides a roadmap for creating equitable and sustainable food systems using regenerative practices and youth empowerment.
Rethink the Runway (RTR): a new initiative to curate community events that focus on the intersection of sustainable fashion and climate sectors. Led by Mira Musank and supported by a team of Climatebase fellows, the movement aims to unite changemakers, from innovators and brands to emerging designers and community organizations to advance circular and regenerative fashion. Starting in Spring 2025, RTR is partnering with mission-driven collaborators to host industry and community events, such as fashion workshops, installations, styling, and more!
The Black Fiber & Textile Network (bftn): a global collective of over 50 Black-owned businesses dedicated to sustainable and regenerative practices in fiber, plant dyes, and textiles. Our members include farmers, designers, artisans, and manufacturers committed to environmental and social justice, community wealth-building, and racial equity. Through initiatives like film projects, workshops, and virtual meet-ups, bftn supports skill-building, collaboration, and visibility for Black people working in textiles. We aim to uplift our communities and honor the Earth with every thread.
Fashion show participants:
Founded by textile upcycling artist Mira Musank, Fafafoom Studio focuses on reimagining, repairing, and refashioning used clothing and discarded textiles. Since 2018, they have diverted approximately 300 lbs. of textile waste from landfills by recirculating them back to local communities, or transforming them into unique garments that merge Western haute couture aspirations with East and Southeast Asian cultural heritage.
Herderin is a design studio exploring the social and emotional functions of clothing, using regenerative fibers to make comfort-forward garments. Each Herderin piece is single-tailor made in the San Francisco Bay Area, and naturally dyed in small batches.
KOSA
Located in Oakland, California, Kosa - Oakland Design Studio is a slow fashion practice of eco-friendly materials and elevated craftsmanship. Their work is designed and crafted in the studio using natural fibers, as well as pieces using plant-based dyes or eco printing.
Seek Collective blends art, craft, and design to create luxurious and timeless pieces. Committed to sustainability, they use only natural materials and collaborate with artisans to produce handcrafted clothing and accessories.
