In this session, we look at the AI era from the inside out, creating the tools, using them and mastering them in ways that transform how we design, build and launch. Our speakers will take you from reimagining design’s true differentiators in an AI-driven world, to building one of the largest AI platforms serving public officers, to crafting and launching apps in public through a dance of speed, patience and creativity with AI.

​Christel Buchanan is the Founder of ChatAndBuild and the inventor of Non-Fungible Agents (NFAs), a new AI token standard bringing memory, identity, and ownership to intelligent systems. With a background spanning Twitter, Brandwatch, and Oxford, she is building tools that let anyone create, deploy, and own AI agents with no code needed.

How we designed Singapore's Largest Government AI Platform

​What do AI tools specially designed for public officers look like? We'll take you behind the scenes of building Singapore's largest government AI platform through three key phases: the research that showed us what to build, our obsession with quality that taught us how to build it, and the community approach that helped us propagate it so every officer could become a builder.

​Rachel Tan is a Senior Product Designer at Open Government Products (OGP), an experimental team within the Singapore government that builds technology for public good. She is currently the sole designer on the Pair team, where she designs a suite of AI tools that aims to empower all public officers to do better work in less time, so that they can focus on what truly matters.

​Speed, Patience & Vibes:
Building iOS Apps in Public as a Non-Technical Designer

​Designers often have the vision for a great product but not the means to build it. AI changes that. In this talk, Fiachra (Fiki) shares how he built a music-based Chinese language learning app in public, on top of his 9-to-5, tackling the three Ds: Design, Development, and Distribution, with AI as a constant collaborator. In building this way, one discovers that working with AI is a dance between speed and patience, and it’s in that very interplay that vibes emerge.

​Fiachra (Fiki) MacFadden is a Product Designer at a Stealth-Mode Startup, working on AI-powered applications. His unconventional career path has taken him through a range of disciplines, each shaping the curiosity and adaptability he now brings to designing and developing applications.
