About Event

You're Invited to the BioCatalyst Microscopy and Pipetting Workshop in collaboration with the Michigan Biomedical Engineering Society!

Microscopy and Pipetting are fundamental skills for any experiment that occurs within a biology lab. Microscopy aids in the study of cellular structures, identifying microbes, and observing biological processes. Pipetting allows for the accurate transfer of small volumes of liquid, a process that is essential for reproducibility and the prevention of cross-contamination. This workshop will provide real-world experience with both of these important tools through a cell staining and viewing experiment.

Whether you're studying the life sciences and want to gain lab skills or are simply interested in learning more about the field, all are encouraged to attend, no matter your background!
