The evening starts with a stirring performance (think poetry, music, or thought provoking comedy) setting the stage for an intimate chat with thought leaders charting inner worlds of psychedelics and the human experience. The evening culminates in a social, providing space for authentic connection, serendipitous encounters, and the remix of ideas 👁️👌🏽

Maya Bastian is an award-winning Tamil-Canadian filmmaker and artist with roots in conflict journalism. Her work has been supported by Netflix, The Canadian Film Center, HBO, UN IOM, The Globe and Mail and the CBC. She has exhibited internationally including at Edinburgh Fringe, Colombo Art Biennale and Cannes Court Metrage. Her work frequently explores the trauma related to displacement and migration.
Sabba Nazhand is a technology executive, investor, and advisor on a mission to help bring more diverse voices to the psychedelic space. Sabba immigrated to the US as a child from war-torn Iran and spent his early career building towards a version of the American dream from leading companies Hong Kong, London, and NYC. Facing burnout, Sabba's life has been altered significantly by plant medicine. As the Iranian diaspora is faced with a crisis of dual identities, Sabba spends a lot of time speaking about intergenerational healing for his family and community.
Lewis Mallard is a self-described inter-dimensional psychedelic folk artist from Hamilton, ON. Focusing primarily on painting, performance, and pointing out the patently absurd. Mallard can be found petting neighborhood cats while taking a break from work, despite his allergies.

Josii Yakecan is a Brazilian singer and composer of medicine music known for her heartfelt performances that blend voice, sound, and spirituality. Her globally celebrated song, "Jurema Oh Jurema," has been a cornerstone of the Healing Music movement for nearly a decade. Josii's music, inspired by nature and sacred rituals, offers a profound and intimate experience. Josii was born in the city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil and grew up in a small village in the north of the state surrounded by nature, and her connection with sacred plants at 19 opened her voice to the melodies within. She released her album Flor de la Selva in 2019, captivating nearly 2 million listeners with her soulful sound.
Rush Kazi is a Montreal-born, Toronto-based comedian known for stand-up, sketch, and musical comedy. Rush’s confessional and raw storytelling style draws from a wide range of life experiences, from jail time to everyday occurrences, delivering a fresh and hilarious perspective. Rush’s debut comedy album, About Time, was named one of the Top 10 Canadian Comedy Albums of 2022. Celebrated as a "Queer first-generation Canadian Disruptor" and "a rare talent," Rush has been featured in Just For Laughs Toronto, Toronto Fringe Festival, and both Toronto and Montreal SketchFests. Rush produces several hit shows, including Asian Comedy All-Stars and Gaysian Comedy All-Stars.
