COD Oxfam Hunger Banquet

​What will your place at the table be?

​Hosted by student volunteers from the Student Leadership Council and Living Leadership Program, when guests arrive at an Oxfam Hunger Banquet event, they draw tickets at random that assign each to a high-, middle-, or low-income tier—based on the latest statistics about poverty around the world. Each income level has a different experience. A master of ceremonies (MC) and student facilitators guide participants through this interactive experience. Finally, guests come together to share their thoughts and take action after the meal.
