Negotiation for Designers with Carolina Ponce de Leon
Negotiation for Designers
Business Case with Carolina Ponce de Leon
We are taught many techniques and ways to ideate, design, develop and conceptualize our designs to make them a reality. The only thing we are not trained on as designers its how to sell or negotiate our ideas. You must be thinking I am not in sales, and that is precisely the point, you negotiate your ideas every day, to your design team, to your employer or to the client. This course was made for you, to learn how to negotiate your ideas, and if you are planning to become freelance or create your own company.
Carolina Ponce de Leon is an experienced industrial designer from Emily Carr University with an MBA and MIB, bringing over 15 years of experience in education. Has held various leadership roles, including professor, department head, campus director, and Academic Regional Manager. As a content and curriculum designer, Carolina specializes in creating business courses tailored for designers and entrepreneurs, blending her expertise in design and business.
With a strong background as a business and project manager, Carolina has successfully expanded international markets for prestigious clients such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, HSBC, as well as Fortune 500 companies like Herman Miller and Knoll.
