About Event

Chicago Digital Health Tech (Chicago DHT)

Please join us for the first-ever Chicago Digital Health Tech (Chicago DHT) event featuring a breakfast networking session followed by an engaging panel discussion on how Chicago companies are revolutionizing hospital care.

Networking Breakfast: 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Panel Discussion: 9:00 – 10:00 a.m

While our city is one of the top hubs for digital health investment—alongside the Bay Area, New York, Boston, and Nashville—there are relatively few forums dedicated to connecting digital health founders, investors, and industry leaders. Chicago DHT seeks to bridge that gap, fostering collaboration and highlighting Chicago's role in driving healthcare innovation.

At our inaugural event, you'll hear from four trailblazing Chicago companies—KeyCare, Mercurial AI, Artisight, and Cofactor AI—who are transforming hospital care through cutting-edge technology. Their innovations include expanding virtual care, automating clinical workflows, personalizing treatment plans, and streamlining insurance processes. Additionally, the founders will share their experiences navigating Chicago's startup ecosystem and explain why they continue to grow their businesses in this vibrant city.

Speakers:

Lyle Berkowitz, CEO, KeyCare

Lyle Berkowitz, MD is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KeyCare - a new type of virtual care partner designed to help health systems and others transform how they manage their populations. KeyCare does this by offering health systems access to a tech-enabled virtual care team that works on their telehealth-optimized instance of Epic. This allows health systems to augment their workforces and expand virtual care options while ensuring a consistent and high quality experience for their patients. Previously, Dr. Berkowitz was founder and Chairman of healthfinch, CMO/EVP at MDLIVE, and a primary care physician and system innovation executive at Northwestern Medicine.

Sarah Blythe, Co-Founder & CEO, Mercurial AI

Sarah is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mercurial AI, where she spearheads the development of hyper-specific treatment recommendations for breast cancer patients. She has been an OR nurse and team lead for Gynecology, Urology, Oncology, and Robotic surgery at a prominent Chicago level 1 trauma center for more than half a decade.

Andrew Gostine, CEO, Artisight

Andrew Gostine, MD, MBA, is an accomplished healthcare professional passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence in the clinical setting. As a co-founder and the CEO of Artisight, he is at the forefront of fusing deep learning and IoT sensors to facilitate healthcare automation and optimization.

Dr. Gostine’s journey began as a critical care anesthesiologist, where he gained valuable insights into the evolving needs of practicing clinicians in the ICUs and operating rooms. This firsthand experience inspired him to establish Artisight with a vision to address real problems in hospital workflow to improve overall efficiencies.

Adi Tantravahi, CEO, Cofactor AI

Adi is the CEO of Cofactor AI, a venture-backed healthcare financial technology startup. Before founding Cofactor, he was a pre-doc at Princeton University. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and served as Director of Strategy at the Research in Color Foundation.

Cofactor AI is building the financial intelligence layer for healthcare to improve the experience for patients, providers, and payers alike. We deploy AI-powered agents into healthcare facilities that automate denial management, run advanced analytics, and improve clinical documentation. Our agents are trained on over 35 million claims and medical records, and are being built in collaboration with RCM experts, physicians, hospital executives, and leading health systems.

Nadim Ilbawa, Physician Director, Innovation and Care Models, Endeavor Health
