if you had a month long creative residency, what would you spend your time creating?
AKIYA is a community-driven project to renovate abandoned houses in rural japan into decentralized + co-created creative residencies.
at this event, we invite you to design your own creative residency with a chance to undergo it in our first community home!
participants will vote on their favorite ideas, and the top selection will be invited to undergo their proposed creative sabbatical for 1 month in our first renovated house in rural japan. voting will take place at 6:30pm, so get in your ideas before then!
