+1 Speed Dating [admits 2]

​Everyone says they want to meet someone "through friends," and we help make it happen. Grab a pal and join us for 6-minute dates with other great friends-of-friends!

​​​Each ticket includes admission for 2 people (1 woman interested in men + 1 man interested in women, late 20's-30's). Your +1 can be a platonic friend you think would be great for someone else, or a crush you'd like to find a cheeky way to spend time with... up to you! Attendees of this event must bring a single friend of the orientation they're interested in to gain admission.

• ​​7:00-7:20: Check-In (doors close promptly at 7:20 and late arrivals will be neither admitted nor refunded)

• ​7:20-7:30: Welcome Announcements

• ​7:30-9:00: Speed Dating (6-minute dates with each other participant)

• ​9:00-10:00: Let's Party! (revisit earlier conversations, check back in with your +1, or make some new friends... the night is yours!)

​Q: Why do I have to bring a +1?

​A:​ We know you have great taste in friends, and we want to meet them. This requirement ensures both that everyone is vetted and that our events are always gender-balanced.

​We also value the power of community. We don't believe that dating should be an isolated, anonymous experience, but rather an integrated and social one.

​Finally, we need YOUR help bringing together the best single people in NYC! If you're hoping to meet other people's great single friends, we require that you bring one for someone else to meet as well.

​Q: What if I don't have anyone to bring?

​​​A: We get that this might be a challenge, but we encourage you to keep your eyes open for great single friends you may have overlooked. Is there a college pal, coworker, or friend-of-a-friend you might not be thinking of? Try asking around, and you might be surprised by who wants to join you.

​This should go without saying, but please only bring people you like and trust. If you wouldn't be happy to see a friend date them, please don't bring them. They don't have to be your best friend, but you should know them well enough to vouch for them.
