SINNER: PUTTING THE HER IN HERESY

​Please join us for a special one weekend only event for the  musical comedy “Sinner.” The debut performance of this one-woman show is by Canadian artist, Marla Torgerson, and will run for three days only. Seating is limited with an audience suggested donation of $20 per seat.  Refreshments provided.

​“Sinner” is a fiercely honest, darkly funny, and unapologetically vulnerable one-woman show that rips the curtain off religious conditioning, patriarchal expectations, and generational trauma. Through biting humor, searing storytelling, and original music, Marla traces her journey from Bible College virgin to liberated “sinner,” navigating evangelical girlhood, purity culture, spiritual exile, and a chaotic rebirth in South Korea. It’s a reclamation of voice, body, and identity—for anyone who's ever been told to be small, quiet, or obedient. This is a love letter to the misfits, the survivors, and the ones still searching for home.
