​Allison Lee was certainly not a "typical" startup founder when she started Hemster.

She saw a service that was available in places like Korea, where she's from, but a missed opportunity in the West.

Allison started Hemster as a tailoring solution that allows shoppers to make their clothes fit perfectly.

Being an "underdog" was no easy burden while raising her first round, and even after finishing the raise, getting to product-market fit was still a journey.

​With the launch of Revive, the company found the perfect market.

​Today Hemster works with household brands like Eileen Fisher, Bonobos, ThredUp, PVH (Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger), Faherty, Reformation, AllSaints, John Varvatos, Johnnie-O, amongst others.

Hemster grew 9x last year with $1.2m ARR by Dec 2021, and are seeing another 4x growth this year with $5m ARR by end of this year.

​Hemster is backed by Bullpen Capital, Hustle Fund, Republic Labs, Charge VC.

Allison was recognized as Forbes’ 30 under 30 in 2019.
