About Event

Less than 1% of investment dollars goes to women of color founders yet they are the largest group of emerging founders. Only 1.4% of all assets being managed globally are managed by women or people of color (Knight Foundation). We seek to change the funding trajectory for women of color across the founder and venture ecosystem and we think diversifying the LP base is key to do that!

Seed to Harvest Ventures is hosting a virtual panel to showcasing women of color (WOC) who are investors (aka LPs) in funds.

We’ll be speaking to 3 WOC investors to share their personal stories on how they joined the space, the trials and tribulations involved, and how one can become more involved and/or become an LP themselves. We’ll have 15-minutes at the end of the event for a live, audience Q&A. This event will be moderated by Lahari Rao of Good Chai Communications.

This panel is part of a larger campaign that will include: social media, virtual panels of women of color LPs, and a dinner series. More details to come.

Bring yourself and any questions you have! We're excited to see you there. This event is geared towards women of color, but all are welcome to attend.
