Art Exhibition featuring Tuan Jones at The University Of Chicago Church
HOMME & Palette: Art Exhibition
HOMME & Palette is proud to present a solo exhibition by Tuan Jones in collaboration with the University Church!
Tuan Jones(1991, Chicago)is an artist, designer and educator focused on providing creative resources and uplifting opportunities to his community. Currently working in Atlanta and Chicago, Tuan’s practice provides a useful set of allegorical tools for creativing his works. Often referencing on the experience and visuals of African American Culture, and remarking on the feeling of “The Faceless & Funtional”, Tuan offers a narrative rooted in both historical and societal context.
“Revitalizing Religious Properties as Neighborhood Arts Centers is a collaborative project of Partners for Sacred Places, Arts Alliance Illinois, and Bustling Spaces, LLC – working in close collaboration with religious leaders in Chicago’s South Side – to address the acute need for affordable, accessible space for neighborhood artists..”
