Public AI Dinner & Salon @ ICLR
Dear friends,
We’d like to invite you to a special Public AI Dinner and Salon in Singapore during ICLR 2025, on the evening of Saturday, April 26.
Public AI is AI as public infrastructure, i.e. AI provisioned like parks, electricity, libraries, or the internet. In this event—a sister event to a workshop happening in Barcelona at the same time—we’ll gather folks working on publicly funded models, open-source infra, national labs, etc., to talk about what it would take to commercialize public AI in a serious way and scale efforts at AI Singapore, BSC, Mila, etc. into a frontier lab for the rest of the world.
This will be a small, curated dinner of people who care about public AI and want to see if we can do more together. Expect to see folks from places like AI Singapore, MDDI, Eleuther, LAION, Mila, Metagov, maybe a few Mozilla folks, and others.
Whether you’re building models, funding infrastructure, or advocating for sovereign AI capabilities, we hope you’ll join us. The conversation will be off the record and dinner will be provided nearby the conference venue.
