Pierluigi Paracchi is the CEO and co-founder of several biotech ventures and a leading voice in Italy's biotech internationalization efforts, National Working Table for the Internationalization of Biotechnology sector, promoted by the Italian Foreign Ministry. He serves on the Executive Committee of Federchimica-Assobiotec and is co-founder of Genenta Science and AurorA Science. With a background in venture capital, he has led deals resulting in over $400M in exits and raised more than $200M in funding.
Montserrat Daban holds a PhD in molecular biology and master's degrees in science communication and diplomacy. With over 35 years of international experience in science policy and communication, she currently leads international strategy at Biocat and serves as President of the Council of European Bioregions (CEBR). She has advised the Catalan government on R&D policy and played a key role in shaping cross-border innovation ecosystems.
