We invite you to join our upcoming virtual panel, where we will discuss one of the most complex and relevant issues of our time: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the two-state solution. This event will feature two distinguished speakers:
Edward (Edy) Kaufman: Senior Research Associate and former Director of the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland. He has been a Principal Investigator and Executive Director of the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1983 to 2004 and has taught in the Departments of Political Science and International Relations. He is now an Associate Researcher in the Master's Program in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Haifa and in Israel Studies at the University of Maryland.
Suhair Freitkh: Holds a Master's degree in International Studies from Birzeit University and has studied peace at the University of Haifa. She has significant experience in governmental and non-governmental organizations and has contributed to various international initiatives. Currently, she is the Representative for Palestine at the Peace Consultancy Center in Washington D.C., which aims to promote a just and lasting resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She is also the regional coordinator of the Rotary Peace Alumni Association.
