AI Opportunities: Accelerating AI for Good (part of #SFTechWeek)

​AI presents so many opportunities to grow our economies, create new businesses, and improve peoples' lives.  We shouldn't, and we don't need, to wait for AGI to start enjoying the benefits of AI to increase productivity, improve public services, and accelerate scientific development.  However, there are actions for the public and private sectors, non-profits, and academia to ensure AI is developed responsibly, and ensure the benefits are felt by all - including the global south, and to prepare for transformative AI technologies.
