Urban Nature Walk & UDL Principles

​Join us for an informative and participatory urban nature walk at Thornton Place in Seattle! Hosted by educator/artist/author/plant forager Cheryl Wheeler, this interactive walk and talk will provide 1) a glimpse into Seattle's environmental restoration activities and 2) an informal opportunity to identify Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles essential to successful community education.

​This activity is open to all curious folks and is a six-minute walk from the Northgate Transit Center.
