Outdoor women’s circle for climate founders
Women are better leaders in crisis and climate change is the biggest crisis of our lifetime. Yet women founders received very little climate tech venture funding. It’s time for change. Join us for a gathering outdoors in the beautiful Presidio to envision a future where 50% of climate innovations are led by women, and where taking an earth-centered approach to innovation is not the exception, but the norm.
We’ll begin by getting a bite to eat at the food trucks, and then gather in a circle to each share our ideas, questions, and experiences related to the topic of how to enable more women-led and earth-centered innovation. We will then gather in small groups to dive deeper on topics of interest before returning to the circle to share highlights from our conversations. For those who are interested in continuing the conversation in a more mobile and informal setting, the gathering will be followed by a short hike in The Presidio.
11:30 - 12 - get food at the food trucks
12 - 12:30 - circle opening
12:30 - 1 - small group discussions
1 - 1:30 - circle closing
1:30 - 2 - optional hike in the Presidio
While this event is intended for women, we also welcome male allies who want to listen, learn, and help elevate women in climate innovation. We encourage attendees to wear green so that we can more easily identify each other.
