*Note: For this event, we have a full agenda - we are featuring a design systems talk and interactive workshop by the amazing Guy Segal, a DS leadership panel discussion and networking.
Agenda:
3:30 PM - Doors & check-in
4:00 PM - Welcome & Introduction
4:30 PM - 6:00 PM - Workshop & Presentation by featured speaker Guy Segal - Director, Design + Design System at Thomson Reuters
"Scaling Design Systems Through Human-Centered Principles" - Presented with a nearly impossible task, Guy's team had to build a design system to support dozens of enterprise products within a fragmented organization. Learning from past mistakes, they approached it the only way they could; by focusing on the humans who will be using it on a daily basis.
Join us for a two part event; in the first part, Guy will take us through the project, share some of the human-centered approaches used, and reveal the results. In the second part, Guy will lead a hands-on workshop on the pre-mortem technique, which allowed his DS team to move forward from past challenges and setbacks and align on working principles for the project that helped inform an action plan towards its success.
